Does my insurance cover chiropractic?

Most insurance plans consider chiropractic a covered service. When you call the office, please have your insurance card ready--we would be delighted to verify and help you understand your benefits and your member responsibility. We accept all major insurance plans.

Do I have to keep coming back?

It is not uncommon to follow a course of care for a few weeks that includes daily home exercises and follow-up visits. The frequency and length of a care plan varies by case. Regardless, we aim to help you get out of pain quickly, but also to provide you with the tools to help keep you from getting in pain again. Our promise to you is to give you the care you need and discharge or refer you when appropriate--no lengthy or unnecessary care plans.

Will I need "cracked?"

It depends. Some do best with more traditional spinal manipulation, while others respond better to gentle, rhythmic joint mobilizations, while still others respond more favorably to various types of traction. As a rule, low-force methods are explored before assessing whether higher-force methods may be indicated, and there are certain indications where forces are not progressed--such as osteoporosis, fracture, or dislocation; it is always important to inform the doctor if you have any of these at the start of your visit.

There are many variables that play into deciding which methods to employ on a given patient on a given day, and one of those variables is your personal value system. If you have an aversion or apprehension about a particular treatment method (or, conversely, if you have had a favorable experience with a particular method in the past), please discuss this with us, as it will help custom-craft a treatment plan for you.

In addition to mobilizing, manipulating, or distracting the joints of the spine, we perform soft tissue, or fascial, mobilization, stabilization exercise, and offer modalities such as electric stimulation and ultrasound. At your first visit we will evaluate whether you are a good candidate for care, and, if so, what treatment is most likely to work for you.
